After completing a 5 hour hike, my niece and I stopped in the Wotnot cafe for a slice of cake and icecream. Well it was worth the hike! It was after closing but the lovely owner said he would serve is. Perhaps he saw the desperation on my face. We enjoyed our slice of lemon drizzle cake and clotted cream icecreams whilst having a lovely chat with the owner. Will definitely pop in again if we are ever in Chesham.

What a lovely little place. We had an excellent toastie (bacon and egg), baked spud and tea/coffee. Very reasonable prices and friendly owner. Nice clean loo too, perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed stepping back in time to enjoy a sandwich, cream tea and excellent service. Literally everything is vintage and that's where the quality lies. Even the vintage toys were a winner with our little boys, leaving us to have a peaceful light lunch. Unique and what the high street needs.

Very interesting place Assumed to be the “Mad Hatter”s shop in Alice in Wonderland. Roger Crabb (c1621) returned back to Chesham to do his old job, shaping hats with mercury and thus became Mad. A nice coffee shop and the owner tells the story. Coffee walnut cake served in nice Queen Anne china plates which is my fine line. Johnny Depp came to visit here and sit in this bench to catch the mood of Mad Hatter.
